Another rude awakening by the cockatoos and a surprising lack of pain in the lower limbs, considering yesterday's walk.
A fab breakfast with perfectly proportioned pancakes was had al fresco. We headed to the local mall to pick up BBQ food, which Ruth did, whilst Steve made despicable me models with the kids (although steve did show a high degree of artistic flair whilst assisting them!) and I went bridal magazine shopping... Be Prepared!
We had a nosey mooch around a $1m house which was for sale out of curiosity, to see what you could get for that much money!!! The answer... A very nice house indeed! Connie seemed to be playing through the keyhole by picking up on various features of the house, whilst we made sure Kieran didn't go for an impromptu dip in the pool! I thought it very sensible on behalf of the agents, vendors and prospective buyers that they operate an open house system at predetermined times. Ruth and I have a pretty good idea who the house belonged to but it hasn't been verified!
Once home we threw our kit together and took a convoluted walk to Holly and Johnny Whoops' house. I was made to feel very welcome at their house as we sat in the pool drinking beer... that is most definitely the way to spend a hot sunny afternoon. The five kids were messing around and Steve instigated some interesting tumbling/throwing/back flipping/back slapping into the pool! Good fun was had all around.
We had a lovely BBQ which had some very tasty prawns on it and sat chatting/drinking until we could see Orion's Belt clearly! We walked home (mostly uphill) and slept well!
No photos today... sorry.
