Sorry Jue but more football. Getting to the sharp end of the season you know.
Owls drew 1-1 (Jeffers)at Deepdale last night. They dominated the game but were diddled by a last minute highly controversial goal. Blades drew 2-2 with Blackpool in a relatively drab game made even drabber by a floodlight failure.
Bit of advice to you both for when you get to Sydney. Avoid a visit to the Aquarium centre at Darling Harbour. When I went I expected to see fabulous creatures from the South Pacific. Instead all I saw was a haddock and a seven legged octopus. It was also quite expensive.
Christopher, I hope you're wearing your England shirt to keep those colonials in their place!

Hi Ju,
Sounds like you two are having a fab time. Hope some of my suggestions were useful - I'm reliving my travels whilst reading where you've been/looking at your pics...v jealous :0)
You sound as though you're coping admirably with the bugs/heat/spicy food - don't know what you were so worried about! (Glad I didn't know about Orb Spiders when I was out there, would've freaked ;-)
Looking forward to hearing all about Singapore and Oz.
Love Fi.

Enough of this frivolity. Let's get down to the basics. Last Saturday the Owls beat Burnley 4-2 but then were turned over by a late goal (2-1) by Reading on Tuesday. Still, it keeps them mid table with a very outside chance of play offs. As for the real team, we've just set a club record for the number of away matches without a defeat (10) by beating Coventry 2-1 on Tues. It looks like Man U are going to walk the Premier, but Arsenal are struggling to get a Champs League spot.
So much for the important news. On a lesser note, the next time you speak to Michael, ask him about the 7 yr old bi-lingual Italian kid who picked him up off the black run on the glacier. Embarrassment alround!
Seems like you're having a good time despite the giant maneating arachnids. Don't worry though because the ones in Australia are a tad smaller but apparently more poisonous.
Looking forward to your next chronicle.
Superblade checking out.

Hi both of you. Loving the blog especially the bit about the wildlife. Still laughing at the thought of Chris' face when you looked up at the spiders. I think we will put Malaysia on the list for visiting, you have given it a very good write up.
Hope you enjoy your last day in Kuala Lumpur and that the trip to Singapore is not too hazardous - no more of those dangerous bus rides. I looked at the map today and saw where exactly Singapore is and I think it is going to be quite hot!
Take care both of you and all our love to you. Mum and Dad T XXX

Hello both of you, you may already have received a message from me, if you have received two messages the same, let me know.
We are well. You need a tin of my special made up spider killer or better still leave them alone. Grandad has been hit on a roundabout. None of us are saying too much about it but you can quess whose fault it is! He is OK but car front wing dented and light smashed.
I am recovering from a bad cold and cough, up all night, and can you believe it Lynns looking after me. Lynns taken on extra hours and I have made a chicken and mushroom hot water crust pastry pie. Not too bad but not as good as yours.
James and Thomas putting in the heating at Lynns house as her James has nearly finished his hard work.
Lynn and I are reading your adventures with interest and you are obviously experiencing some beautifull scenery and monuments. Just be mindful of the pests. Love you and miss you like crazy Dad and Lynn xxx
