Day 25 Thursday 5/09 Paris 33 deg Sunny -

Judy here....Can only say Sacre Coeur, River Seine and Eiffel Tower, which we experienced in all their beauty on a perfect sunny day. We had crepes and Croque Madame for lunch in Montmarte. Toured the beautiful Basilica of Sacre Coeur, climbed the 300 steps to the Dome for a panoramic view of Paris. Travelled back on the metro to the Louvre, "people watched" while cooling our feet in the water. Walked along by the Seine to Pont d'Alma to the Lady Di memorial, all the while watching the Eiffel Tower grow larger and look so lacy in the afternoon sun. We found our Michelin rated restaurant for dinner, which again was superb French cuisine, 33€ for 3 courses, amazing value for money. After dinner we strolled to the Tower, lay back on the grass and watched the bling begin at 9pm, such a wonderful finish to a fabulous day. Can't wait to return to "Paree"...off to pack for Turkey and our Ottoman adventure.
