As we didn't have to leave until midday I went to the gym before breakfast and afterwards we both went to the viewing platform - sadly no last bears. The day dawned bright and sunny yet again; we could see people on the bear viewing platform but they were chatting so we knew there were no bears around. Consequently we headed off to breakfast. Today was a hike with a local guide, Doug, looking for bears, their signs and any other wildlife we could find. So at 9am ish we got into Doug's nice new comfortable truck and set off up the road following the course of the river.
