Cali Mara, good morning, I believe this is one of my new favorite greeting at Greece. There seems to be a freshness when this is spoken, today is a good morning. I am riding on an amazing team,with amazing coaches, and an amazing horse in an amazing place, Greece whoa freeze! Greece I never thought I would be here ! As I prepare to compete this morning I pray that my ride would be glorifying to God. I also wish my grandmother could be here. She would have loved to see me compete. She would have been so proud of me. I miss her. She would have loved to come to Greece. She and my grandfather loved to travel. She a would have supported me 100% on this adventure. So this ride is for you grandmama.
It is a bitter sweet moment when I go to mount the last time in Greece. I have had an amazing time competing and I am so blessed to have this opportunity but at the same time mounting the last time means games are coming to an end and then I can only live on the memories. Which are so precious to me. More than one could ever imagine.
Today was awesome, I got a bronze, kept my horse in a trot the entire time he was supposed to trot! Bravo Hugo! I had one of my best rides yet, it may have not been gold quality but for one of the very few times I wasrelaxed and determined! I had one desire this time to glorify God. I truly feel that I did glorify Him. Amen and amen.
