Today we went exploring! We ventured out onto the metro, and to the wait for it. The acropolis! Yes the acropolis!I stood where one of the churches began in Athens! How humbling is that. One place I never thought I would climb, touch and stand upon. The hymn I stand upon the rock, and the churches one foundation kept playing reverently in my head as I stood upon those rocks where my God and His word was spread.
As I went through the museum of the Acropolis I began to have my eyes opened to the true struggle and heartbreak and frustration Paul must have felt as he preached to the Athenians the Holy Word. As this adventure comes to a close I am once again truly blessed to have this opportunity to be in this city on a hill. To end my three weeks here on a note of my faith was so amazing. Cali spara
