Well here I am, my first blog entry somwhere interesting!

Actually I'm on the plane still (7 hours down, 3 to go) but it's a step from Mold. Acording to the little map thingy were just entering the Bermuda Triangle, should I be worried?

The last few times I've be abroad I've flown with budget airlines so I was used to cramped conditions so let me tell you this make quite a change.

I had planned on being charming and friendly at check in to try and get an upgrade to 1st but that plan was foiled because apparently now you check in via a machine. Charm was of no use there!

As luck would have it though the table at my chair was broken (Those of you that have seen final destintion will share my concern) so was able to change to a row of three empty seats. So its been feet up and complimentary drinks all the way.

It still hasn't quite sunk in that I am going away for a year, I'm trying not to think about it too much and just relax. I've still got another 5 hours or so of traveling before I reach my hostel and it feels like a long journey so far but my thoughts are with how Liann will cope with a much longer trip in a few weeks time.
