We made it to Paris! After a long but comfortable journey yesterday we arrived at our last destination. We got up early this morning, bought a croissant on the way and went straight to the Eiffel Tower. Lots of other people had the same idea but we completed our aim of going all the way to the top! The lift was quite frightening but the view at the top was amazing and perfect weather for it too! We then had ourselves a French crepe each as we were hungry from the climb. Next was a trip to the musee d'orsay which is a lovely old museum. We also managed to fit in a bit of shopping but peaked about 2pm as our tiredness hit us. We checked into our final hotel which is lovely :) after a rest we wondered around near the hotel and found Henry's favourite chocolate shop and patisserie. Henry's dad recommended a restaurant which we made an effort to go to. The restaurant had character and a friendly waiter. But it was the food that blew us away. I had a French cheeseburger and Henry had steak. I have got to say it was one of the best meals I have had and definitely a great way to finish the trip. We headed to the sacre coure after dinner. And sat by the church to appreciate an awesome view of Paris.
