Today we visited the crypt where the paratroopers who assassinated heydrich hid and fought against the nazis. We also took a tram to the other end of town and went to see alfonz mucha's the slav epic collection. These huge paintings are the pride of Czech art. We then wondered around the old part of the city and bought some souvenirs.

Another sunny day and we started exploring the city. First we climbed the hill to the watch tower and got an amazing view of the whole of the city. Then we walked along the wall and into the castle gates. We saw the castle cathedral and some lovely old buildings. We also crossed the old bridge and ventured to the other side of the river. Now we are tired from the sun and all the walking. We are resting/having a siesta before going out for dinner!

We arrived in Prague on a very sunny day. The train journey was chilled but only once we had worked out how to sit together, as the train was packed and we had reserved seats separately. A nice foreign family were in the carriage with us. Once we arrived in Prague, Henry's dad's good friend Steve met us and we took the trams back to his apartment.
