No title because I didn't really do much (title recommendations more than welcome if something comes to mind from reading the blog)

We arrived in Phuket a couple of nights ago, dropped our bags at our hotel room and headed out. Our hotel room was absolutely great. Air-con, comfy beds, fridge (with free water), tv, and a balcony (with an amazing view of the green and pink buildings opposite). I was feeling really sick though. On the flight over I was so close to throwing up and was so glad just to get to the hotel. I got some antibiotics and we headed out to meet Pete's Aussie mate Matt and his girlfriend Tess. We went to dinner at an Italian restaurant. Pete chose the specific restaurant because he liked it's neon light in the window. I managed to eat two bites of my pizza but then gave up because I couldn't swallow it. After food the others headed out for some drinks and I headed to bed. All was fine except our air con didn't work at all. I lay there just sweating until about 9am. Pete came in drunk, after a night out which included his third ping pong show, at about half 3 and offered to turn my pillow over for me (how thoughtful) but then joined me (not actually joined me) in sleeping in the sauna called our bedroom.

The next morning we got up, showered (which was a waste of time as we sweated as we left the bathroom) and headed to Matts hotel. Luckily they had a pool and great air-con so we enjoyed the luxuries for the afternoon. After a chilled afternoon I was feeling a lot better so we grabbed some food and headed for some drinks. We decided not to make a big night of it so that we were refreshed this morning for Koh Phi Phi and that's where we are heading now.

Hope everyone is all good at home. Short blog this time but Phi Phi should be more eventful.
