So we travelled to vipingo to meet Nicky who we had no idea how old she was or what she would be like! we got off the matatu at Vipingo posta and went to go find her. We then had a tour of the village where she was teaching in a nursary school for a month. A girl who was showing us around was very persistant and managed to get luke's number!

We were asked if we wanted to stay for a meal which we of course said yes to! Sammy (the school's pe teacher) phoned up one of his friends to get 2 chickens for us! He turned up with 2 live chickens which he then beheaded in front of us. We were then taught to pluck the chickens and cook them! It was a really great meal with ugali. After a bit of debating and last minute looking up we were invited to stay the night there to get up at 4 the next morning to get another matatu to the coach to voi. It was very hard to get up! Especially as we went out for drinks the last night.

We managed to get to the bus in time and then the communications went wrong. Nicky was told to get off at durma and we were told to get off at voi to meet Antonia! So we managed to get off at voi, and tried to ring antonia who was up the side of a mountain so obviously couldn't answer the phone! We then got onto a coach that was passing by and got a ride to the end of the road leading to lion's bluff lodge! We then walked for a kiliometer and got to the gate where the manager kindly came and picked us up!
