We left Koh Tao so that we could go to the full moon party. It was going to be big, I could feel it. We arrived at the harbour only for our travel luck to kick in again! Apparently we weren't booked on the boat, although we had a ticket. We were told to come back again at 5.
When we finally got on the boat it was a pretty hair raising journey across to Koh Pha Ngan as it was really rough! Gutted nobody threw up though. We were coming into the harbour and there was a sudden jolt. Everyone thought nothing of it because we thought we had maybe just hit the side of the pier. The next minute all of the staff are running down the walkways in their pants and jumping over board, needless to say it got us all thinking. We could feel a jerking movement as if we were rocking, it turns out we were stuck on a rock! Next minute the captain comes over the speakers and gets everyone to move to the left hand side of the boat. It was hilarious, wasn;t quite the Titanic!
That night we made it to the full moon party. It was massive. We sat out and drank buckets whilst listening to Reggae and then slowly moved up the beach to the more heavy stuff and then finally the Dance area! There was about 8000 people there. I was epic! We got back to the hotel at 5 in the morning! AWESOME!
The rest of the time was basically spent relaxing on the beach, there doesn't appear to be a lot to do apart from lie on the beach which I was happy enough to do! Our resort was showing all of the latest films on pirate DVD's everynight so it was quite cool to watch all of the new releases.
Next stop Krabi!
