Hi all!

We are now in Vientiane (capital of Laos) where we will be heading to Vietnam tomorrow.

Vang Vieng:

We went tubing on the full day that we had here. We were a bit apprehensive after hearing some bad stories about it but we had so much fun! We set off at 1.30pm and arrived at the first riverside bar. We had one drink and Jonny tried out the first swing which he absolutely loved! I dared to try the next zipline with jonny - which was wicked! We both went on the same one - i was worried that i wouldn't be able to hang on but i did! It was so much fun!

We grabbed our tubes where i unelegantly jumped into mine! Made a lot of people laugh! We cruised down the river and stopped at a bar with a mud volley ball court and tug of war pool. We lazed in the hammocks with another cocktail. We then tried out the tug of war - jonny stepped into the mudpit without realising it was deep and consequently fell in!! It would have gained 250 quid from you've been framed! We played volleyball with some israeli guys - we could not stand up for it was so uneven and slippery! Wicked fun though.

After another swing we went down river to a bar with a slide. After grabbing some food, Jonny went down the slide. I didn't go down but we both went on the swing (the highest of all the course) - i shut my eyes!! Jonny came off at a bad point so clambered out downstream!

We cruised down the rest of the river and then it started to rain. We got cold quickly as well as the sky getting darker so came off the river and got a tuk-tuk back to Vang Vieng.

There were bars/restaurants where you could lie down and watch friends and family guy! So cool!

Next blog will be from Vietnam - we are both really excited :)
