As many of you know we have returned home to sunny sunny England. It's bloody freezing!! We both are really disappointed that the trip has ended much earlier than we had planned. We failed to find work in Sydney as we found that a lot of employers didn't favour working holiday makers like us. I guess they don't want to spend money trainin…
Dear All,
As you may or may not know, we have changed our plans! Unfortunately we could not find any work in Sydney and have met several other travellers who have had the same problem.
Rather than work elsewhere (or as a door to door salesman which is one job I had offered) we have decided to head for colder climes back in England. We have almost finished our sightseeing of Australia + will have a quick stop in nearby New Zealand!
Will keep you updated,
Love

What an achievement!!! You certainly grasped the nettle and "went for it" with a diligence and enthusiasm to be proud of. Your excitement and enjoyment was infectious and we so looked forward to Kirsty's superb descriptive blogs, the photos, videos and "Skyping".
Thank you for sharing your amazing adventures which have been a real education for us too and for keeping in touch so regularly - you could still have been in Southampton!!
You seized the opportunity and achieved so much, we are very proud of you, well done and welcome home.
Lots of love

Well done and many thanks for your wonderful blogs, photos and videos. Your adventure was a well planned and a splendid achievement. You "reduced the miles" and made us feel very much part of your journey. Bejing, Bankok, Halong Bay, Ayres Rock and Auckland are now firmly established on the map alongside Marnhull and Mirfield!!!! The places visited, friends made along the way and whole experience will provide many memories for years to come. We now look forward to the book and TV series! Can we come with you on the follow-up trip (not including the bungy jump and snakes!)!?
Wishing you both every success, and Lots of Love
