Day 127 (Thursday 22nd February 2007)
... I will do these properly soon, just cant be arsed right now! Sorry!
- I spent the day hurling after catching Eola's bug!
- Didnt get outa bed all day
- My visa was extended until the end of May. So I am no longer an illegal immigrant! (not that it's going to stop the jokes coming from Andy!)
Jonesy's coming home
With his bags packed, Marc siad his emotional goodbyes to Ria and Dan. After squeezing in the Barca v Liverpool game (go on Liverpool!!), Marc hopped into Vicky's car and off to the airport.
Ian met us there while he waited for his flight back to Perth, so we grabbed a coffee at the airport. Then Ian was off, closely followed by Vicky and Marc was left all alone at the airport.
Then began his hellish journey home. Amazingly he made it on to his flight ok and after 7-hours or so he was back at Changi Airport, Singapore. Whilst here he had 6 exciting hours to fill so he stuffed his face with McDonalds and Ferrero Rocher! He also, on about his 12th lap of the airport, revisited that infamous spot where Sarah ditched her bag...he couldn't help but smirk!
Then it was 13-hours of more painful flying back to England, but he got quite a bit of sleep in so it wasn't too bad. How good's the in-flight entertainment these days, remote control and all sorts...amazing!!!!
By 06:00 local time in England he was home. It was pitch black outside and raining and no one had arrived yet to pick him up...welcome back Jonesy!!!!!!
Well lets hope that Sarah doesn't rush back home too. With an extra 3-months on your visa you should stick around for a while and have a good time. You have some great family members there who will take good care of you.
When the time finally comes that you do come home, we all hope it's that same happy girl we all know and love.
Look after yourself, keep smiling and keep your chin up girl!
