Day 117 (Monday 12th February 2007)
It was marc's first full day surviving on his own, so he did what he does best...sat on the computer and watched football!
As well as getting the website up to scratch he watched a bit of Bolton v Fulham, followed by the boys against Wigan.
What a win! Behind again, the mighty reds just don't know how to lose, especially at the Emirates. They showed so much character to fight back yet again and that chubby-faced, Scouse muppet can shut his pie hole if he thinks his side were robbed!
Heskey, the human weeble, would fall over under a hair dryer and if he means to say that Arsenal's equaliser was offside, then just consider Adebayor's perfectly good disallowed goal just before that.
"Phil Dowd could cost us £50"...well try buying better quality than England's worst-ever excuse for a striker you northern monkey! Perhaps you'd make a better career out of being a Monty look-a-like you sad, Scouse t**t!
As for the mighty, mighty Gunners, you've defied the odds again and proved yourselves to be the best football team on the planet! Every team wants to be Arsenal...especially Spurs!
Later that evening he watched an hour of Premiership highlights just to catch up on the stuff he hadn't yet seen. Before that and before his beloved Arsenal gave him his latest heart murmur, he popped out to buy Wendy some flowers for being so great...what a creep!
Tales From The Caravan
Great timing to catch everyone's cold! I had a very exciting day of dying in bed watching some shocking aussie tv!
I had spent most of the night awake, thanks to the god awful storm outside! My gippovan was shaking everytime it thundered, well it sounded more like we were being bombed! And the noise of the rain on the tin roof was real soothing! I nearly took Mum's suggestion of hiding under the bed, except there was far to many things crawling under there.
Once I did finally manage to get up and out of bed and it stopped raining for more than 2 minutes, I went and picked up some drugs, (not real drugs mum, dont worry!) which cost me a small fortune and then headed back for a swim in the pool. The pool was very nice, and it even had a small waterfall that kids were using as a slide. I was quite enjoying my swim, until one little boy shouted out "Mum, I've already pissed in the pool twice!" and his sister shouted back, "Yeah well, I pissed three times!" Dirty little gits! So I rather quickly got out and went for a shower!
I then spent another exciting evening watching Home and Away. But no football, yay!
Day 118 (Tuesday 13th February 2007)
It's been pouring down here in South-East Queensland for a few days now and right through to about 15:00 it just rained and rained. Around lunchtime Marc heard the most deafening thunder he's ever encountered in his life.
He gave Sarah a ring in the morning to check she was ok. She sounded pretty poorly, having caught Marc's and Cameron's colds and drugged up on sudafed, she hadn't been up to much. In fact, there wasn't much for her to do there anyway it would seem, what with Noosa having about 3-inches of rain in the last 24-hours and showing no signs of a reprieve.
Marc took shelter in the house and watched Wendy and Eola frantically trying to get organised for the New South Wales horse show thingy that starts on Thursday...very funny!
In the afternoon he nipped to the shops to grab an outfit for the party (can't go looking like some sort of travelling pikey) and a little gift for Ria and Dan's engagement. He also picked up a Valentine's Day card for Sarah which he'll leave for her on the bed...he still loves her you know!
At dusk David took Marc out the back to show him the fruit bats as they flew by. They were enormous and it was a sight to behold as these giant mammals of the sky flew past on another night's mission of Queensland fruit and flower pollination. They left David's banana tree alone, so he was happy!
Wendy dished up a scrumptious plate of corned beef hash (yum yum) and as everyone else one-by-one turned themselves in for the night, her and Marc stayed up watching the shockingly poor 'Shall We Dance' starring Richard Gere and Jennifer 'Ass like 4P' Lopez.
Then it was time for Marc to pack his bags, ready for his early morning flight. Adelaide here he comes...
Tales From The Caravan
After yet another excellent nights sleep, I awoke to the now very familar noise of the rain thundering down on my caravan roof! Im supposed to be on the Sunshine coast for christ sake! Where is the friggin sunshine!!
Determind to not spend another day bored in my delightful caravan, I headed off to explore Noosa. It really is a stunningly beautiful place and so are most of the people, who also appear to be stinking rich! I visted Noosa heads, Noosaville, Tewantin and Sunshine Beach.
Sunshine Beach was quiet and when I got there the sun came out! Wahoo! So I stopped off for a bit of a sunbath and a swim. The waves were huge and I watched two surfers trying to kill themselves before a big arse cloud came over and decided that was it for the days sun! So back to caravan of fun for me!
I watched some super cheesy film to try and drown out the noise of the rain and the old lady that runs the caravan park came over to check I was alright. Bless her, she said she was very worried about me being by myself and wanted to check that everything was going ok. Ahh, good old aussies!
