We woke early on Wednesday morning to get the bus to Yichang. After first getting on the wrong bus (which incidentally was really nice) we walked to the bus stop. We got on what looked like a public bus and the people piled on. In Yichang we both decided to go to the puclic toilets at the bus station - these have to be the worst I have ever seen - imagine the worst festival toilet and multiply that by 1000, there was even poo in the urinals! On Sunday we went to the Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing. It was well presented but only occupys a tenth of the actual museum the rest is a propaganda filled mausaleum to the reform of Chongqing! Back at the hostel with Lee (our new favourite chinese friend) had a tea ceremony. It tasted a lot like English tea (but Barnes' wasn't happy about the lack of milk and two sugars!) and Lee didn't seem too happy about the suggestion! A sad farewell followed- what a love...
