Well back online finally. Using Serena's (Sister ) desktop computer as it is the only way the emails get sent out. With a nice rest day at Carnarvon we didn't bust a gut to roll out this morning. The weather had dropped off quite a lot and there was a lot of cloud cover in the sky. Having left Whim Creek we now slowly baked our way to Karratha. With the heat really boiling our water we stopped again in a little town called Roebourne. So....Left Port Hedland at about 7.30. It was good to catch up with Beryl and have a chat. Both Beryl and Gayle and Steve recommended a compulsory stop at a place called Whim Creeek whilst en route to Karratha. Gayle and Steve were train drivers from the mines and were alkso future bike tourers on their newly purchased Triumphs. Great to meet people like this.
