I'm currently residing in Scarborough, a beach town not too far from Perth having arrived here on Saturday... I last wrote on on Wednesday morning... which I now realise was about 6.30am local time... woops... my cause was not helped by the fact the clock on the computer was also two hours fast making me think it was 8.30am and not such a unreasonable time to me awake, showered and blogging... I only actually realised it was so early having ventured into the out...

Have been up since a ridiculous hour so I thought I'd be pro-active and make a slight amendment to yesterday's blog. First why am I up so early: 1) Well clearly jet lag has hit 2) Despite this supposedly being a land of sunshine there is almighty storm raging outside which woke me up 3) And finally, my one means of telling the time since losing my phone, my watch, stopped during the night. It's been a while huh? When I last wrote I was hoping to be third time lucky in doing a Robben Island tour on Saturday 24 October. Well I achieved it. Unfortunately, as tourist attractions go, it was pretty pants. The history was interesting but the way the tour is delivered and the rushed nature meant it I wasn't massively impressed. What did I do on the Saturday night? I honestly can't remember unfortunately - got extremely drunk in the LSB bar is a safe bet!!...
