Our trip today was a drive north to Deadwood in the north Black Hills. Deadwood was a rip roaring gold town that featured in a TV series which I believe Gordon Ramsey used to watch to practice his limited vocabulary. The main street is a mass of saloons and casinos just like it was in its heyday. We checked out the cemetery where Wild Bill Hickcock and Clamity Jane are the prime tourist attraction.
