Day 7
Our day started really early as the train was leaving the Kamloops station at 7.00 am. We set the alarm for 5.25am ,and rose like the sun slowly, must be on the bus by 6.10 ,it all goes like clockwork, all aboard and off we go, the smoke had thicken overnight and appeared our day again would reveal none of the beauty we had come so far to see. Shirley has a cold and is stressing about this smoke, but we can't changes nature so let's enjoy what we can.
It appears more and more people feel they're being reaped off as most have travelled long distances to get the views of all the Rocky Mountains and they believe that the train should have been cancelled.
Didn't happen so let's get on with it , still hard to see in the distance and remains like that for about 40 Ka then as if the gods had spoken the air began to clear , the mountains became much clearer and the sky took on the lovely blue colour we al know is up there. Suddenly the sadness we started with had change to laughter, cameras were clicking, waterfalls were bubbling, rivers were sparkling, the world had return to the norm. We were all seeing the Rocky Mountains the way we all expected.
The weather stay that way for the rest of the journey and because of this our skill of communication seemed to find its voice and we made some new acquaint.
A couple from Birmingham in England and to nice ladies from the Gold Coast.
I am not going to write any more because train ride are the same on any day , it's the pictures that change and make the difference. So good bye for now, catch you all on day 8.
Love you all Shirley and John.
