Day 23
Tracy Arm Fjord today was an early start as it would take 3 hrs to reach our destinations . We climb aboard the The captain cook , a boat that would take us there ,there is a pic of her. On our way we were greeted by cloudy skies , and sunny which made it hard to dress appropriately. In the three hrs trip we lucky to see hump back whales and eventually plenty of sun ,this allow our photos to better than we first expected.
On the way in we observed two pods of whale, not breaching just swimming casually but we were able to get some good tail shots as they dove to the great depths below them. We finally made it to the first of the Sawyer Glaziers and OMG the shape , the size and the colour were all what you see on any doco , the photos are good but the real life was absolutely fantastic.we stay her for near on an hour and during this time there was three very loud bangs ,each one representing part of the glazier cracking or breaking.
We left this glazier to go to the other half of the Sawyer glazier which was much bigger ,and the colour were far more impressive, it was very beautiful. Ian hoping you get the idea from the The Photos. Time is running out so we turn the boat and head for home, but as we were leaving someone spotted some mountain goats. They were very hard to pick up but once we saw them the photos were easy.
So I'm not Going to rave on , look at the photos and judge for yourself. Free day tomorrow so who knows what will happen .
Love you al
