Our guide explains where we are going today starting with a small town with ramparts and walls which surround the royal Palace its name is Mechouar. The palace is huge ,it employs 2000 local and to work there it is the pass on system ,handed down through the family

From here we travel northeast along the North Atlantic coast road to ancient town of Rabat, the Capital city. We have a walking tour here that take us to the Kasbah and the Mausoleum of Mohamme V and Hassan ll tower. While walking through the we over look the beach and it's white sand but the colour of river sand ,brown or as they say amber.

We then continue our tour to the to the town of Volubuillus to the Roman ruins which are well preserved,with this little man giving a guide tour. We then drive town our next place of interest Meknes a beautiful place but miles from nowhere and even further to the holy town of Moulay Idriss.

From our here we make our way towards our next 2 night stay which is Fes ,along the way we pass some hay trucks piled so high it was very difficult to is get by them, but our young drive did a great job.

This is a beautiful but dry country with many interesting things to see so far. We arrive at our hotel around 8:15 ,by the time we check in it is 8:45 and we haven't eaten yet but when we do the was beautiful Moroccan food.
