A relaxed start, with final packing, leisurely breakfast and final farewells to the Klein's team.Very special thank you to Matthew and Tiffany, Mike (our butler) and ALL the staff for their friendliness, professionalism and service which contributed to a truly wonderful stay. Then our final game drive on the way to the airstrip, with near perfect timing as the incoming plane landed as we arrived.

A brief encounter with Derek and Sheila again (they on their way to Serengeti under Canvas) and us on to Arusha - where we were happy to be reunited with the Beast (parked at Moivaro Coffee Plantation). All in perfect order, and the engine kicked into life with the first turn of the key!

In the afternoon we took a short drive into Arusha to sort out some cash and to do the obligatory "half way" photo at the clock tower roundabout in the centre of the city.

After a bit of final planning for the next day, we had dinner and an early night.
