Having had a good nights sleep, we were both up and about by six thirty, went to breakfast where we had a choice of coffee with omlette and toast, or milo with scrambled egg and toast or tea with fried egg and toast, or, probably, any combination of the above. We opted for the scrambled egg and toast, and we even got home made mango jam, which was delicious. We sat and pondered for a while then went for a walk into the town, such a contrast from Kumasi, no one bothered us and it was really quite, we headed for the internet café, to download the last few days' and photo's, once that was done we had a wander, and found a "bar" so stopped for a Star. On our way back we had a look in a little shop selling clothes, paintings and such like, the lad, Kojo, that ran the shop with his brother Richard, a tailor, was really pleasant, and told John they could make him a shirt. Kojo walked us up to the material shop. Three yards cost 15 cides, about £12 in our money, we took it back to the shop where Richard measured John and said the shirt would be ready tomorrow, John was a happy bunny! We got back to the Taste Lodge and had another chill. This is really a chilled out town! We enjoyed another couple of beers and ordered our dinner, John wanted Grasscutter ( bush rat) but they had sold out so he had to make do with Talapia and Gari foto which is yet another carb dish made from Cassava roots. Delicious! With dinner over with we headed back to the internet shop and downloaded hopefully what you have read since we headed East. A quick check up on the progress of the shirt and then back to the Lodge and a night cap before bed, its so peaceful here.
