Well we awoke in our straw roofed hut at beachcombers Guesthouse at about six thirty to brilliant, baking sunshine. We are starting to get used to this, its like heaven. We went to the terrace for breakfast and after a while a girl came and asked us what we wanted. The choice was toast with cheese or jam, or an omelet, with tea or coffee…

Our trip to Borneo promised to be the biggest adventure of our lives and this site is for you to share a little of the experience with us. It all started when our old Vauxhall got stolen and we had a few quid from the insurance in our hands and chose to buy an old banger for £300 and spend the rest on a once in a lifetime trip.

We enjoyed it so much that three years later we are "off exploring" again....this time to Ghana
