The time had come to head off once more, everyone else seemed to take the motorcycles, but not us, we sat and waited for a while for a taxi, but when nothing turned up we decided to walk, well it is supposed to be good for you, this time we followed the road until we came to a junction, then we kept right, and carried on, the road was long and had hardly any shade, but we kept on walking and eventually got to Fume, we had walked 6km, and was knackered, we sat under a large tree to get our breath back when two lads came over, where are you going they asked, Mountain Paradise Lodge, we replied, 10cedis they said and they would take us, I would have agreed 20, if it meant we could sit down, so off we went in a Tro Tro up a very winding dirt track, which in places was bumpy as well. The road is being resurfaced hence the bumps, but after about half an hour we turned off and there it was our house for the night, Paradise it defiantly was. Once we had registered we were shown to our room, three huge double beds, but the lady said you must only use one, and a bathroom, very nice, we chucked our stuff down, and headed for the bar, wow it was a circular shape on a platform over the precipice and the views were amazing. We had sandwiches for lunch washed down with several Stars, during which time John caught up on some of the blog, we are struggling to find internet, so you readers will get at least a weeks all in one.
During the afternoon, we met some other guests, all from Accra University, with their other half's, we were asked to join them for dinner, which was nice, then afterwards one of the lecturers had organised a drum and dance band for his daughter who was only about three, they were absolutely brilliant and got everyone up and dancing, and so the evening came to a happy end, and off to bed everyone went.
