I mentioned the curry and rice we had for dinner yesterday, didn't I? Well I didn't mention that I hadn't quite weaned myself off the Imodium yet and by this morning at daybreak I was back on 'em with a vengeance!! And my tummy hurt quite a bit too! I'm afraid that this rather set the tone for the day and we were both very happy to sit on our personal little lake view veranda and read, occasionally lifting our eyes to observe the frenzied activity among the huge colony of orange weavers, (Much, much bigger than the colony we had enjoyed at Hans Cottage) and occasionally taking a gentle stroll down to the lake shore to watch the fishermen in their ceaseless and fruitless toil. The day passed in wonderfully lazy style and I finished "The Dead Sea Deception" by Adam Blake. (it says in the sleeve that Adam Blake is an internationally bestselling novelist, based in the UK I think he may be Dan Brown?) and by dinner time I was feeling well enough to join our fellow travellers for that famous Ghanaian speciality, Spaghetti Neapolitan. I chose this because I felt that spaghetti and a little tomato sauce would be ok for my delicate digestive condition. However this did have a slight Ghanaian twist to it, it was made with the same chilli sauce that I had with the rice yesterday! Oh well, what the Hell! And just to check that I was completely cured we washed it down with a couple of Stars as well. I wasn't completely cured!. And so to bed.
