From Te Anau we travelled alongside the Te Anau lake calling off first at the mirror lakes from some great mirror reflections of the Southern Alps. Further into the Fjords we passed the Lake Gunn and the divide and walls of snow from previous avalanches. On the way out of Invercargill seen Henry the 125 year old Tuatara (lizard), on the way on around the coast had a rest at McCracken's rest for the essential photo and had a look out for whales which were just off the beach. On up the road we stopped for a walk at the Clifden suspension bridge and then again at Lake Manapouri getting stunning views of Fjordland. We helped out best we could with Sam though we may have been more of a hindrance. After checking out Simons pimped out work truck we all headed into Invercargill for lunch and bumped into the Bay of Plenty team who would lose to Southland the next day, ha ha. From Dunedin we headed for the Catlin's calling off first at Nugget point, where the lighthouse overlooks alot of rocks which look very like gold nuggets, or maybe chicken nuggets. On the way out of Queenstown we passed the impressive Clyde Dam, where they flooded a town to form the lake to feed it. A short trip later with our personalised tour guide Skip (Australian unsurprisingly) we took a walk/climb up the steepest street in the world in Dunedin. Checked out the Cadbury factory tour which was a bit of a disappointment, basically a few videos, big machines processing chocolate and a chocolate fall thing. The speights brewery tour however...
