Nine days to go.... lovely run along the river. No stress, nice and easy. JT also took advantage of the mid morning sunshine down Dartford way. Both out for just 2 hours. It's all in the head now. With just a week before we leave - have taken over half the lounge with amassed kit... hope the campervan is big enough Food order placed for delivery on Friday - should keep us going for a while.

JT well on the mend and raring to go! As am I (raring to go I mean.) 10 days 'till Lift-Off! Can't believe we are at this stage. Still a couple of larger outstanding items to fall into place - like sponsored kit and extra cover insurance, but I'm assured they will be resolved next week. Hope so! Finished work today so now I can focus on the final few days and rest where possible. A couple of runs planned for the week-end, dentist Monday, last run and Cure Parkins...

Happy Easter! Another whole day on the road. JT still resting, but had the company of Kyara (training for London) for the first 2 hours - which made it go very quickly. The end of session two was quite hard going, but it did involve a lot of tourist dodging on the South Bank (shame Kyara wasn't still with me - it would have been good London training for her!). JT a little under the weather today so very wisely decided to rest. Much better to be safe than sorry at this stage. Weather very comfortable for running today. Ran 12 miles in each 2hr session which left 6 miles to finish off. Ran 30 miles in 4.58. A much more comfortable and even paced day. Hot Cross buns obviously work!
