bali was so beautiful in every way. The people were amazingly friendly and gentle, the culture was interesting, the rooms, quality and the beaches stunning. After leaving malaysia very relaxed after a week on a cute island, we arrived in singapore. really impressed with the place, just amazing artichecture, new and old, really interesting cultural districts like china town and little india. its immaculate, and so modern but with enough history and culture to give it a sence of identity which we felt kuala lumpur missed. had an amazing time in borneo so far after island hopping down peninsular malaysias east coast. Started off in Sarawak. Spent 4 days in one of the costal but jungle national parks. trecked on walking trails, through jungle, alpine terrain and really wild beaches. only a week or so in to malaysia but we're loving it so much. The perhentians were stunning and a nice level of tourism...not spoiled and pleanty to see and do. The diving there was great. coming through Thailand the second time was lovely, though seems a different place the more times we pass!sometimes better, sometimes worse, sometimes just different. we had a shopping spree in Bangkok then headed to the east islands.
