Hiya
My time in London is coming to an end....but have had lots of fun and caught up with lots of people. I leave early on Wednesday morning to fly to Prague. From there I join an Eastern Trekker tour group and we go through Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia so I'm getting pretty excited. Then I fly back to London stay a night and then home...which I'm also excited about. Can't wait to see you all. It's been great staying with Amy and having a good old time. She's away on van tour on Thursday and can't wait!!
So since my trip to Aldershot what have I been doing?? Well, Amy and I have been regularily attending Zulu's pub each Monday to score a free roast. We went out and caught up with cousin Sharon and chillied out at Abbey Road. I went to Ware and stayed a night with Sharon and Nick in Nick's awesome house. We had an early start two Saturdays ago for the NZ v OZ rugby game and ended up at the pub all day long where Amy enjoyed eating some kangaroo. Last Friday we had our makeovers that Amy bought for my birthday, we got our hair, make up and nails done and looked rather impressive, then had professional photos taken... looking forward to when they arrive. That night we went to the Ten Bells Pub (home of Jack the Ripper) and met up with Lucy, Ju, Andy plus his sister Charlotte and some of her mates, Ben and his friends, Hannah and Mel. After a few drinks we headed for Brick Lane which was one of the most fun dining experiences of my life. Because we were such a big group the restaurant staff were offering us all sorts of deals. Fortunately Andy was there and got us all sorted out with 5 free bottles of wine, free poppadoms and dips plus 30%off our meals.....so the whole night cost 6pound each!!! On Saturday night we went to Shakespear's Globe and watched a play with Sheree and got soaking wet because of the blimey rain. Then yesterday Amy and her flatmates had a BBQ and the sun kindly shone upon it making for a great afternoon.
So have been fairly busy in the last week!
Hope you are all very well.
xx Jo
