Just a quick update as we have not done a great deal so far in Argentina! Crossing the border from Chile we arrived in a small town called Salta…..main thing to report is that we had our first piece of fat juicy steak! 500g for under 7 quid….bargain….it was great to finally have some food in us! We witnessed the passion South Americans have for Fuzbol when Argentinian club "Riverplate" won their domestic league. The locals came out to the main square, parading round with flags and bibbing of the moped horns for a few hours! Moved on to Cordoba (13 hour bus journey south) as a pit stop before Buenos Aires. The bus journeys haven't been bad, seats recline far back and really comfy, and you get served a delicious filling meal……we couldn't stop laughing when a roll was served which was no bigger than my little toe's toe nail! This led to a fit of the giggles! Cordoba is a small town with not a lot to do so only stayed for 1 night……awaiting the 9 hour bus journey to Buenos Aires. Will update again next week when we will hopefully have something more exciting to say, ha!
