We are in France...AGAIN and along the French Riviera! The scenery was just beautiful. In the way to the Hotel we stopped at a French Perfume Factory. Very interesting place. This is one of the locations that real perfume is made. Even Chanel and all those other brand name perfumes buy their flowers etc from this company. We were taken through the factory and told about the process etc. We then went through their shop of course and did not escape without some new fragrances. They also produce soaps, shampoos, bath gels etc. We arrived at the hotel later that evening and let me tell you......this is where we lost all privacy. As if sleeping close together wasn't enough we now had a bathroom door with glass in it. It was that funny glass but you could still see quite clearly what was going on! Guess where the toilet was? Yup right behind the door....oh boy! Whoever thought that was a good idea didn't think it through too well. That night we went out to dinner for some lovely French cuisine and then walked down the Christmas markets. Can I just say....I am in love with Christmas markets! They have been everywhere we've gone and they never disappoint. We went on another Ferris wheel and saw the lights of Nice. Just beautiful. The next day we had beautiful weather and we hit the shops, walked along the Promenade, had lunch on the beach and enjoyed some delicious gelato that had been cut into a rose...awwww.
That night, dressed in our best, we headed off the play with the rich folk at the Monte Carlo Casino! Wow it was pretty cool just getting to watch the fancy cars pulling up outside and inside....what can I say? Spectacular! It was so fancy it had self cleaning toilet seats. We weren't allowed to take pictures in the casino but I got one o the toilet because that's the only thing I could get a picture of hehe. To too the night off I won €105 which I was pretty impressed with! Tomorrow we leave this beautiful sunny place an head to Florence!
