We went up the Peak Tram which took about 7 mins to go up a very steep slope (glad we were sitting not standing)! When we got up there it was a nice clear day and got some good pictures (to follow). Then walked a 45 min round trip around the peak, followed by a 45 min walk downhill (that was a leg burner)!
Going to catch the tram up again tonight to get some night shots. Hope the mist has lifted as yesterday was very misty and we would have seen nothing!
Saw the light show from all the skyscrapers (this happens every night at 8pm) Where gonna watch it from a star ferry cruise of the harbour but decided we should wait until today for that as the mist was so thick.
Walked around HK park, lots of waterfalls and averies. Did some haggling at the ladies market for sunglasses (Paid too much for Jo's but mine weren't too bad). Then got Jo some a neckless from Night Market. Jo started the haggle then got a bit scared so walked away. At which point the lady halfed her price. I finished the deal! Also got some nice noodles there.
Had Lunch at a very nice Malaysian restaurant called Sabah in the Wan Chai region. Nice people and lovely grub also very reasonable. Soup plus choice of main meal (we had chicken curry, rice, nann) then pudding, plus a soft drink. All for $60 (thats 6 pounds).
Off to a temple now might get our fortune told. Then grab some Dim Sum for lunch and spend the evening at the top of tram.
Riggoz thanks for the message, we will use the tram today at some point.
