alright guys! i think the last time i updated this, i was in brisbane, so anyway. we left brisbane , and toddled off up the coast to hervey bay. from here we did a trip to fraser island - which is the largest sand island in the world. check it out. this sounds great in theory - however in practice it just means sand everywhere - and i really do mean everywhere! so anyway. a group of 10 of us were given this big 4x4 thing thast was our home for the next three days. we had 3 drivers but because im not 21 i wasnt allowed to drive. it looked like ace fun. we set off with a map and al ist of things to do. camped on the beach and stuff which was also cool. it got dark so early over here. its weird coz like its so hot during the day you forget its winter time and they have ealry darkness like back home! saw some cool stuff. thebeaches were amazing, you got to drive up the beach, well cool. also youd think sand was soft - but not to sleep on and also not to drive on either really. the inland tracks were so bummpy - it was unbeleivably uncomfortable. seriously! bouncing all over the place! camping was cool tho. errrr,,,, saw some fishermen catch a little shark by accident. but thinking about it even though it looked tiny, it stuill could have had your arm and done some serious damage. we werent allowed to go in teh sea which was so frustrating because of them but rather be alive to be honest. there were some amazing lakes inland, that had the clearest of water and the whitest of sand which was good. got back to our hostel yesterday, a little bit of a dump  but not the end of the world. we're off on an overnight coach tonight up to airlie beach to sail the whitsundays! should be an experience.

anyway, i dont want to bore people any longer so im gonna toddle off but i promise to those who still read this, that i will try and keep it updated!
