another crazy picture! o no relevance...

anyway. last time i updated this, im pretty sure i was abouto set off around the whitsunday islands. so, we arrived in airlie beach on sat morning. at 3 that aternoon, we set off on a boat. it was big. i think it was a catamaran but dont quote me. i reckon there were about 50 people on board. all with lots o alcohol! lots of drinking ensued. it was only 2 and a half hours on the boat so no one was sick.

got in a room with dave and some people we have met in the last few days. a girl called mary rom scotland. nigel from essex and heather and hannah from manchester. all pretty cool.

drinking games and lots of drinks in the bar pretty cheap too - all good! yes! very very drunk by the end of the night.

next day. hungover. on a boat all day! serves me right really. i was the first one to be sick of the back of the boat. carried on spewing all morning. it was horrible . i have never felty so ill and never wanted to be on dry land so much! jesus! got off at whitehaven beach - supposedly ythe nicest beach ever. i just slept in the shade. had to get back on he boat that afternoon, but luckily was feeling better. lovely islands althpo i didnt get much chance to notice!

no drinks for me that night. ha an early night. next day i was fine again. not amazing on teh boat but at least not hungover! enjyed sailing alot more. it did rain though. rubbish. went snorkelling - pretty much my first time and its crazy! really easy to panic ! weird! some cool ish tho and a bit o coral. all very pretty. no sharks, but sexy stinger suits to save us being stung by teeny jelly ish that can put you in intensive care for 5 days if stung. ARGH! 

got back yesterday afternoon. bummed abut. went out last night. was pretty good but not in a drinking mood. cant think why!

rained today. nothing much to do. tomo we go to townsville - rom there we get the ferry to magnetic island. only one week left in oz now. weird!
