hello everyone! left byron bay this morn - was certainly an experience to say the least. got a bus - which thankfully was considerably shorter and only lasted about 3 hours. didnt end up stopping at surfers paradise - but it looked s*** anyway , a bit like gran canaria. rubbish. got to brisbane and the first few hostels we went to were all booked up. was gonna stay with  friend of ours but he lives kind of far out and as we dont have a car - it wasnt really feasible. oh well.  slept this afternoon. may go out tonight as im finally off antibiotics. yes! might not tho as pretty skint and also pretty shattered! brisbane seems nice but ill tell you more when ive actually had a bit of a walk around and stuff! got our trip to fraser island and the whitsundays booked tho - did i tell you that? ive got such a bad memory, but nayway - thats well exciting so should be good. :) glad to be out of byron, especially as the weather is bloody awful! nothing much to do and all a bit too pretentious for my liking. but all is good. getting a bit more used to this whole living out of a bag thing but its still weird! ttfn. xxx
