On our first day we went to the Recoleta area which is a very wealthy area with beautiful parks and monuments everywhere. DAY 1 After a 21 hour bus ride from Rio (not as bad as it sounds) we boarded another bus for a further 4 hour journey followed by a 3 1/2 hour trip on a 4 wheel drive truck (very bumpy!) to our camp.
