Yo its me again, wow i've been having some crazy super fun over here! Today I "did" some of the city with a guy from holland whose staying at the same hostel as me, (more details girls in pending email) First of all, started off at Orchard Road to hit the shops...and my god what shops!!! The biggest malls I have ever seen in my life with some bargainous shops in them, picked up a yummy pair of Guess? sunglasses for a snippet of the price they would be in england. I've uploaded some photos but to be honest you really need to go there to take in the sheer size of the malls. Hopped back on the metro and headed to Chinatown. To give you and idea the metro here is the cleanest most modern thing you have ever see. You get 500 pound fines for eating, drinking, chewing on the metro and your family is fined 5000 dollars if you commit suicide on the tracks. Lush. So anyways, in exiting the metro station you go up this uber modern escalator into...CHINATOWN. Its hustling, its bustling, its just crazy and packed. A complete contrast from the metro station - its like another world! Again the photos can't really capture the atmosphere! Market stalls full of new year goodies, also got some really yummy noodles and a couple of beers for about 3 quid - mmmm beeeeer, Jo love Tiger beer. Then as I was a lil bit pished, (come on its me, just because I'm in another country doesn't make me any less of a lightweight!) I headed back to the hostel to get some sleep and do some emailin' as a gang of us are heading to Zouk to infamous, (aparently) Singapore club for some techno raving. How I love to get my groove on!
