My last but one journal entry....sob sob feelings like I'm saying goodbye to an old friend! So here I am on my last day in Fiji having passed a verrrrryyy strenuous week island hopping north west of Nadi. Hey guys, another update from the world of Jo! Sorry its been so long, its just I've been trapped in a gulag style labour camp vine pruning in the middle of nowhere - aka the lovely town of Blenheim! It's very much a "local" town for "local" people, vine pruning is taken verrrry seriously, infact the Annual Pruning Competition is up there with the Sheep Shearing Shudden Death Knockout, (try saying that with a straight face!) on the high social event calendar! Basically I've decided to stay here for pretty much all my time in New Zealand, it's like Christmas town! I've started my volunteer work helping out prepare for the Winter Ski Festival, helping with the local school's float in the parade....it's taken worryingly too seriously!
