The pain. I am in so much pain it is unbelievable - but it is good pain as in I went on an uber jungle trek with my new chumbies Freddie and Rose for 5 hours today. And we're talking serious, as in climbing over logs, using ropes to scale mountainous like cliff bits, lots of falling on my ass and general intensive trekking! We walked 10 klick in all but 80% was up hill and the 20% was falling down them mountain side!!! Climbed right to the peak of the second highest mountain in Cameron Highlands, 1890 metres above sea level which is really high!!! Got back to the hostel to check the map and tourist office guidelines for this trek - "Extremely difficult, guide and physical preparation required." Ooops. But am loving the Highlands, its lovely and cool like english summer and the guesthouse is really nice and chilled but full of loads of people - but the right crowd if you know what I mean! Started chatting to a couple of (hot) english guys, in my dorm, Ben and James and we hooked up with Freddie and Rose, (awesome english couple, freddie wants to be the next david attenborough) and all headed off to the pub. Was most fun and we've all made plans to meet up on the 14th for the next FULL MOON PARTY (YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!) in Kho phagn, (don't worry parents will be very careful and avoid all naughty cigarettes, sex with random hotties etc etc) Though am so knackered now and my leg muscles are killing me so much that I can barely move so may just be crippled and never able to party again. :( Yeah right. It's Chinese New Year today, the year of the dog, town is crazy busy and we've been advised not to travel until the 2nd at least, to be fair I wasn't going to do that until then anyway. Need to sit around and drink lots more tea and eat heaps of food etc oh yeah and sleep!!! All this tea drinking, nice weather and exercise is making skin look most awesome and soon will be thin and brown hurrah! So what am I doing next? Well will visit the tea plantations tomorrow and have a bit of a wander in Tanah Rata - the town where I'm staying and then sunbathe, (its a hard life). So ya boo sucks to you smelly little sister, quit school and come travelling now!!! Will probably miss out Pulau Pangkor island now as will not have time to get to beach party in advance, also is a pain in the ass to get to, via loads of cities etc etc. Panag should be great though as they have the largest chinese population in Malaysia in Georgetown and new year celebrations go on for ages!!
