Up at 6.30am picked up at 7.20am off to have a helicopter ride to Grand Canyon. Didn’t sleep well last night so pretty tired. Up a little later today had great buffet brekkie in hotel. Decided to go to shops and get a couple of lighter clothing items. On the way stopped in at a bar “Gilley’s” Martin wants to go tonight to see the dancers. Found a mall not open til 10am. Most of the shops over priced but eventually found some shorts for Martin and trousers for me. Left Hotel at 7.30am arrived Las Vegas at 12.30pm. Staying at The Mirage lovely hotel nice room not bad look onto part of the strip at night. Bed seems comfy. We settled in then took a taxi to Excalibur Hotel too far to walk in heat. Last day in New York didn’t sleep so well last night our bed not so comfy here. Decided to try buying some sandals bought birkenstocks to see if can walk better. Decided to visit Radio city music hall & The National Geographic Encounter. Couldn’t book into until 2.30pm so walked to the encounter sandals not great. The Encounter was great.
