Hello :-)

Well, we are in Pondicherry at the moment, which is very lively and bustling - a bit like the Vegas of India! Its right on the sea, so has a nice beach area to walk across too. Jen and Neil had their fortunes told by a palm reader on the seafront last night... apparently we both have long lives, and job promotions to come!

Backtracking slightly, after Varkala we ventured into the Nilgiri Hills, where it was freezing, and very wet. We stayed in Coonor but also visited Ooty, and it was a nice break from the heat. However we went for a walk to see Laws Falls ( a big waterfall) and it absolutly chucked it down on us, so we had no dry clothes left for the rest of the time up there! The piccs of the Hills were taken from the train ride from Ooty to Coonor, which was fantastic.
