Day 55 - Nah Trang
Today we spent the whole day on the beach having a relaxing day. Michael wasn't feeling all too great so we didn't do much else later either. We bought some new books from street sellers and spent the night on them.
Day 56 - Nah Trang
56 days into the holiday an Michael had his first breakfast haha! We were up early and had 20 mins to spare before we could go to Vinpearl Land for the day so we went for breakfast and Michael actually ate some! We then got a taxi to the cable car which takes you to vinpearl land, which is an island with a water park and themepark on it. The cable car was actually pretty scary! It was really high over the sea and it takes around 20 minutes to get to the island, but the views and everything were great. We started off in the arcades, since it was indoors and air conned because it was so hot at that point! Everything was free which was great, we spent an hour and a half or so playing all the games. We even got a shot of a bucking bronco and both of us stayed on the whole time! Although we felt like we'd had a serious workout afterwards. We then went on the dodgems and got whiplash, then went on the swings, where Michael said "this is quite scary actually!" haha. Then we headed to the water park. It was really good, we enjoyed it a lot! The first ride we went on was called tsunami, and we had a double rubber ring so could go on together. It was absolutely terrifying with a vertical drop down, but we went on again! There were another few good rides, one normal flume that ended in a giant whirlpool where you went round for a bit before being pulled down a whole in the middle and landing in a pool underneath. After we tired our selves out on the rides and in the wave pool, we grabbed a ring and went floating around the lazy river. It was really nice, going round the whole park in between some palm trees and nice scenery. It did however come to a strange part that ruined the relaxation a bit! We could see a cave ahead, and before going into it we had to go through a freezing waterfall. It was pitch back in the caves and they had all sorts of fake spiders and bats and creepy stuff. It was funny, but strange! After the river we got our selves ready and headed back to have a late lunch. We then had showers and got our backs packed and checked out of our room at 5. We had 3 hours to kill before our bus to Saigon, so we went to an ice bar. The drinks were seriously expensive, but we got a couple of drinks at the bar downstairs and took them upstairs to the ice bar. Before we went in we were given Eskimo coats and mittens. The whole bar is made of ice, the walls, the chairs, and the bar itself are all made of ice. And it is -9 degrees inside. It was nice, felt like we were back home again haha! So we spent some time there until it got too cold and we finished our drinks outside in the heat. We went and had some dinner before we got on our bus.
