Day 15 - Kendwa

Today was our final day at the beach in Zanzibar. We had to switch rooms in our hotel because when we arrived, they did not have one room for five nights, so we checked out of our room and into the new room. It was a cheaper room and for some reason, bigger and nicer! After the room check out we had some lunch and had planned to walk along the beach back to nungwi. We had heard about a title sanctuary in nungwi where you could swim in the pool full of turtles. I had wanted to find this place ever since we got to Zanzibar and had decided that we would do it on the last day, but we then had a downpour of rain! So we couldnt go. Instead we lay on the beach beds under an umbrella reading our books. Later on the sun came back and we sunbathed for a while. Tonight it is Tore's birthday, so we went for happy hour cocktails, dinner, and more drinks with them and had a really good night. At 2am we said good bye to them and headed to the hotel. On the way, drunken michael tried to lie in a hammock and get it to swing all the way round. He of course landed flat on his face in the sand haha!
