This was our last day in Mexico City. We went to the Museo del Tequila y el Mezcal. The museum featured some exhibits on the history of tequila and mezcal and contained lots of detail on the agave plants. It also had some information on the history of the mariachis. Though short, it was a worthwhile visit. After visiting the museum, we took a few strolls around the historic district before packing up and leaving for the airport.

This day, we headed off to the Museo Frida Kahlo. The museum contained several paintings and outlined key moments from Frida Kahlo's life and aspects of her personality. Though not what I'd personally regard as a must-see attraction, it was short enough to easily fit into the trip. After a brief visit to the nearby Mercado de Coyoacan, we headed back to the apartment.

This day, we took a tour out to Teotihuacan, a city constructed by indigenous people before falling around 550 AD. The site was quite impressive and the tour guide gave plenty of information, in both English and Spanish, about the city's history. We climbed to the top of the Temple of the Sun, which provided some decent exercise as it's 65 metres high and the stairs are quite steep. Today, we repeated the previous morning's trip to the Museo Nacional de Antropologia at the Bosque de Chapultepec, but it was of course open this time. The museum is quite large and had several interesting exhibits depicting indigenous societies throughout their history. This day, we headed off to Bosque de Chapultepec, but, to our chagrin, it turned out that the Museo Nacional de Antropologia was closed. We then decided to go to Pier Fernando Celada and took a gondola ride across the network of canals there.
