This day, we took a tour out to Teotihuacan, a city constructed by indigenous people before falling around 550 AD. The site was quite impressive and the tour guide gave plenty of information, in both English and Spanish, about the city's history.
We climbed to the top of the Temple of the Sun, which provided some decent exercise as it's 65 metres high and the stairs are quite steep. The top of the temple provided excellent views of the surrounding area. Though it was cloudy that day, we still had decent visibility. We then climbed as far up as we could go on the Temple of the Moon (the upper half of the temple is off-limits). This vantage point gave a view overlooking the entire site.
After leaving the site, the tour took us to a nearby shop and restaurant where we had lunch before departing to return to Mexico City.
