This morning, we made our way downtown to commence a tour over the Brooklyn Bridge and into the neighbourhood of DUMBO (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass). This morning, we made our way over to The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Met has some interesting exhibits from various civilizations, though doesn't stack up with some of the well-known European museums. After spending a few hours at the Met, we walked over to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. The Guggenheim has an interesting design, though the art it houses wasn't nearly as interesting. We headed over to Times Square in the morning to catch a downtown bus tour. The tour gave lots of information on the various attractions in Downtown Manhattan and was a good means of acquainting us with the area. Our flight arrived early in the morning and we took a shuttle over to our hotel to drop our bags off. After grabbing a bite to eat, we wandered through the streets of Manhattan. There are lots of very high buildings that stretch over vast areas. We made our way to Central Park and walked up several blocks through it. After leaving the park, we headed over to Times Square.
