Hello all,

Arrived in sydney yesterday morning at 05:40 after a 10 hr coach drive from byron bay!! Slept quite well believe it or not!! Well it was like being back in manchester, it was throwing it down with rain and quite cold!! Booked in at the nearest hostel a YHA, it's the first YHA i've stayed in, they are awesome. Very clean, tidy and well facilitated. It's prob the best hostel I've stayed in, there are 2 kitchens, internet, movie room, pool table, pool on the 9th floor so u get a spectacular view of the city!!

Went out for the day on a tour bus, $30 dollars for a hop on hop off 24hr bus pass taking u all over the city to the top sites!! Unfortunately it was raining!! I went to see the opera house, bridge and decided to call it a day cus i was piss wet through!! I'm gutted the weather wasn't better cus the opera house pics didn't turn out the best.

I'm sharing a room with a german lad, he's a gud laugh. We went out last night for a few drinks at the local bar with his friends and there was a great guitarist playing.

Sometimes it's mad how u can go out with a group of people u have never met before, can't understand or speak their language but sit quite happily around them wondering what the hell they are talking about!! But i don't mind, after all it's usually me that is doing all the talking, it's nice to have a break!!! ha ha

Well the weather looks like it is going to be better today, fingers crossed!! Will keep u posted on tofays events
